Parking at the Hydro will be for Disabled Badge Holders only. There
will be no other parking allowed in order to facilitate entry of
emergency vehicles.
Courtesy
buses will collect and return to Braithwaite Fold Car park. Mountain
Goat buses can be hailed anywhere round the Glebe.

By Car
From M6
Leave the M6 at Junction 36 onto the dual carriageway sign-posted
The Lakes. Follow the signs to Windermere for about 14 miles. As
you near Windermere you will see "The Windermere Hotel" on
your right, as you draw level turn LEFT into Windermere village
(past the Tourist Information Centre and the entrance to the rail & bus
station). Follow this road into Bowness on Windermere and down
to the side of the lake. Turn right onto Glebe Road at sign for
show parking. Follow signs, parking is on the right. Courtesy buses
run regularly between the car park and Hydro.
Train
Windermere is served by the Lakes Line, calling at Staveley, Burneside,
Kendal and Oxenholme. There are direct services from Lakes Line
stations to Manchester Airport and connections to West Coast Main
